These are from earlier in the week (Monday) after the first fall of snow. I was working yesterday so didn't take any - by the time I got out at 4pm I had 6" of snow to clear from my car, and was very grateful to the lady who used her sleigh to clear a great deal of it away!
This is Bury Mount, just behind my office: an old Norman motte and bailey which was opened to the public a couple of years ago. The quick way up is via the stairs, or you can follow a wide circular footpath which has historic dates for Towcester embedded in the pathway.

Just beyond the Mount is the old mill stream and bridge that leads you to the Water Meadows - Grade II listed and part of the old Easton Neston estate.

I only took one photo out of the car window on the way home with my phone, and it's not very clear as it's an instagram! A slight pause before attempting the final hills into the village:
