Fine photograph, how do you sneak up on them?

      Re: Goldcrest

Thanks, they move through an area very quickly, but often return and are usually pre-occupied with searching for insects. So all I have to do is wait quietly where I saw them last until they return -sometimes a long wait though! There were two together this time.

Two lovely pictures, as the saying goes things come to those who wait

          Lovely shots.

There's a Goldcrest that visits our garden occasionally but we've only ever managed to get a good look at it from the top of a ladder when we've been pruning the top of some conifers or a tree near those same conifers. Never managed to get a shot, nor even tried as it's too high up. We're aways thrilled when it comes a little closer to have a quick look at what's going on though.
