This is Worcester racecourse taken in fading light yesterday afternoon.

and a view of the course over the flooded Severn.

Beautiful scenery but we are also reminded of the deadliness that flooding can be. When we bought our house 18 years ago I remember saying to myself that at least it won't flood as we're half way up a hill!

I especially like the third picci, the one with the reflections.

We're safe from floods too, about half way up a steep hill. We can get blocked in if there's a lot of snow and ice as the ploughs and gritters don't come down our road - so fingers crossed that won't happen this year.
