Very nice Paul particularly the 1st one. The more I see of the pics from your K30 the more I am considering whether to see what SRS would allow me against the K30.

The darker background highlights the heron beautifully and the wing spread of the cormorant makes for 2 very nice photographs

Two good shots Paul. I like the way you have caught the light on the Grey heron. you must live in a wonderful area to be able to get these shots. John

Thank you John, not a great area as I live in the middle of the black country which is very urban, but I do have Sandwell Valley Country Park which includes a RPB reserve as well not to far away.

I just wish the Cormorant had been further from the far bank to get better seperation from the background, I may see what I can do in Photoshop.
