That bought a smile. Never mind they will clean up a treat
Bella looks to be well wrapped up.

Gabe looks as if he's thinking "d'ya have to grab a shot on such a bad hair day? " and Bella's flat ears sez it all .

A couple of super examples from the new toy too. Excellent detail, true colours and contrasts. The wet hair on Gabe and the whiskers on both dogs show up beautifully.

Freya wants to know why Bella gets a nice warm coat and Gabriel doesn't!

Great pictures - Pentax and Paul make an awesome combination!

I was trying my very best to resist being a 'Pentaxian' but I couldn't agree more with what you say about the very capable Paul and the very capable Pentax working together.

Let's not forget his very capable little models either.

BTW Paul (or anyone else interested) Pentax have a very good image gallery at http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/

The camera/lenses section enables you to see shots from any Pentax camera/lens conbination. It can be an excellent site to browse for anyone wanting to assess a specific lens for a specific camera.

Thank you John and that would be because Gabriel does not feel the cold as much as Bella. Just a nip in the air and Bella stands there dithering , she is a true Mexican who loves the heat and abores the cold.

John I still love my Pen as a lightweight carry around but I did miss a 100% optical veiwfinder and DSLR handling and I just think we will see no more Olympus DSLR's so I went with Pentax.

Lets face it the small lightweight weatherproof body with a 100% veifinder is what the E-System should have been and I am very happy with Pentax.

They keep changing the layout of the gallery, which is a nuisance, but there's a link to the 'cameras and lenses' section somewhere along to top of the page. It can also be a bit slow at times but the examples really do give an excellent idea of which of the lenses are the ones worth considering

When you get there, you'll find the images have a small i in the top right corner. Clicking on the i takes you to the exif data for that particular picci.

Pol, I can get away with praising Pentax without the risk of being accused of bias - I've never used one, let alone owned one! But if I wasn't Olympus I'd probably be Pentax.

Paul, your Pen and Pentax should complement each other very well. I agree it is uncertain if there will ever be another Olympus DSLR an even if there was it would be hard pushed to match the K30 in terms of spec and price.
