Bit bored by the gloomy weather so I got my old slides out.These are photographs of slides taken with my E5 and the slides on the end of an old toilet roll on the front.

A delightful set of shots.
The sky in the 2nd looks like a perfect gradient.
I like the mother and child shot even though the child looks peeved at something.

Thanks.I think I had a polarizer on in that shot.Although I can still find all my OM gear this is the one thing I can't.

the slides seem to be kept in a good condition. Personally I like the photo of mother and baby. As the mother's eye gazes at the lens, it's quite a strong photo but the framing stops the blow (?) firmly. The baby looks to me a statue of buddhism. a face of wisdom.

also glad to know that you were an OM user. I was, too. I occasionally use it to make them sure that they are all in a good shape. thanking you for showing us from your archives.

Quite a mix in genre here.

Never been to India. But would love to go there.

Liked seeing all of these. The architecture is exquisite, and I particularly like the woman with child.

Good to be able to put a face to the name too.

What a wonderful set of images. Like Yoshi, I agree the mother and child is impressive, however, they are all stunning.

Roy and I went in 2011. An outstanding holiday from being rowed on the Ganges to see the sunrise and the people bathing to travel on the Shatabdi express, the Taj etc, etc.

Have been watching Michael Portillo on Rail Journeys in India and it brought it all back, as he travelled in many places that we did and walked the same route.

It's funny how your pictures have such a wonderful retro feel to them. Just love them. Thanks for sharing.

We visited India three times in the 80/90's. My wife retires next year so may go back.
An Indian friend who I used to work with tells me we would really notice a difference nowadays.
