What's the scientific name for a Lesser Redpoll?
Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it. Terry Pratchett.

David, it is Carduelis cabaret, the Common Redpoll is Carduelis flammea.

I didn't know they'd split it from Common Redpoll, it was a subspecies last time I captioned photos taken in the UK.
