    One from the Archives - over ten years ago:



    This was taken using a Kodak DX4900 4 megapixel compact camera. The exif data suggests this was taken in January 2000 but the camera was launched in early 2002 and I reckon this was taken in May 2002. But I think you will agree this is a pretty good result for a ten year old digicam.

    As you say Ian not bad for a ten year old digicam.

    I first dipped my toe in the digital waters with a 3.2MP Kodak DC4800 that was released in Oct 2000. I still have couple of surviving images taken with it.

    Strangely enough today I digged out my old EOS 300D that has not been used since 2006 and charged the battery up...it still works!

    But compared to todays offerings it seems like a dinosaur and the time to write a raw file to the card seems a eternity.

      That's a very intrecate frontage.
      Strange as to why the steeples are inbalanced!
