As some of you know, I like to "play" with the flash units out of these things.

I've just found out that if you ask nicely in ASDA, they will give you as many as you want.

Any guesses as to what I'm going to do with this lot

I wouldn't be so daft as to hazard a guess, knowing how 'unusual' you can be.

you probably have some excess CDs to make a disco ball and make the flashes strobe with music - you know it's gonna be the darkest time in a year so why not bring some light into it

Never could get it to work properly. Disposable flash units are so poorly made, they go off at different times, power, etc... They also fail very quickly and sometimes quite spectacularly
