  • More than a mouthfull?

A Little Egret observed having lunch, distant shots at about 50 metres with E-M5 and 75-300mm, large crops.

    Got it!

Now let's chew on it a while:

Very nice series indeed, I'm surprised you are still using the EMD for bird photography now you have the 7D David.
    Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

      Thanks Paul

Unfortunately I only have the 400mm lens with the Canon and as I was restricted by weight on my cabin baggage-only flight the E-M5 with three lenses had to be the one to take. For landscapes, macro and wildlife out in the open on fairly slow moving creatures the E-M5 is really the camera of choice for me, even if I hate the ergonomics and appalling battery life. The 7D is the superior beast for fast moving subjects.

Neat sequence. Amazing how they do it.
