This was the first real, big gator I have seen. It was amazing to float right past in a canoe and it not even bother to move... I had expected it to slip into the water and hide from the camera, or to become aggitated, but no... it just stayed on the bank, sunning itself
I think I have a very healthy fear of things like that! If it had slid into the water, I would have been very worried. Could this have rocked the boat you were in?
Near my house in Indonesia they have crocs, but in good old blighty and here in China it's not something we have to worry about; thankfully!
