  • Twenty Years On

The last time I got my Daughter to pose for a portrait was when she was seventeen.

In the years since then apart from the odd unflattering snaphot which she tries to hide from it was alway no Dad I don't want my picture taken.

Roll on twenty years and today she put some make up on and asked me to take some pics much to my surprise!!

Here is Nicola aged seventeen and the last proper portait I took of her.

On film of course with studio lights.

And twenty years on taken with the Pen E-PL3 and 45mm and window light.

    Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

They're beautiful portraits and she hasn't really changed much over the years either.

The first one is a stunner, everything just perfect - even her choice of clothes.

Of the more recent shots I especially like the last one.

You have brought out an intensity in her eyes

The first is an absolute stunner and what a gorgeous head of hair.
The eyes definately have it in the other two although she does look very serious in the first of these and much more relaxed in the 2nd.
