Totem Pole - re-visited (earlier this week).

    Olympus SZ-31MR - P. mode - f8.7 - iso 200 - ev -0.3 etc

This is situated in private gardens and is the most difficult item to photograph due to its location.

    Regards. Barr1e

      Re: Autumn Reflections

I think the image of the bridge is amazing - hardly any loss of contrast or saturation in the reflection - a rare thing. Exposure spot on too with just enough detail in the shadows. I must go down to the local (Grantham) canal soon but I'm off to foreign climes in a couple of days.

A Beautiful reflection Barrie. It is not often that one sees the water so still and the lighting just right to get a capture so perfect. By the way thanks fo your comments on my Rhine photos.

Lovely reflection shot. The water is like glass giving off stunning reflections.
Must be a story attached to the totem pole!

                Re: Autumn Reflections

Tom, Dennis, Pops, Tom and John - thanks for the kind comments. I had taken this bridge before in the distant past and when walking under it yesterday with the sun on my back, thoughts returned and after a few more strides turned back and saw what I thought would make a good mirror image.
Once in the computer all was revealed.

                All the best.

                Regards. Barr1e

That really is a mirror image - which way up should it go?
