Re: price of petrol in Folkestone.
That's a better price than our local garage, where it was 141.9 a week ago.
Last time we filled up,at Jempson's in Peasemarsh, it was 140.9. Jempson's is usually the cheapest for miles around so we usually fill up there when we're pssing through on the way down to the marshes.
Our camper only gets approx 23 mpg so it's worth looking for the cheapest place to fill up. I daren't look at how much it's cost us after filling up the camper - but it's still the best way to travel (cooker, kettle, loo, armchairs, settee and beds onboard).
I remember getting "a poundsworth" in my Mini Clubman way back in 1971. That used to get me just approx 3 gallons and it was enough for the whole week.

Exactly the same as yours Escallonia 136.9 in Sainsbury's in Worksop in Nottinghamshire. However, on the way to our daughters 14 miles away it increased to 138.99. In Sheffield at Sainsbury's I believe it was 136.9.

It seems to be a good place to fill - you sure need to get something from pharmacy after getting full tank. The sad thing is that all other good technologies to get energy are suppressed by oil companies.

We enjoy pretty competitive prices here in Hemel Hempstead and I usually fill up at Sainsburys which is on the (less than 2 miles!) drive to and from the office. It's usually 2-3p more at Julia's parents near Bracknell.

Iain'
Probably the most honest instruction on a petrol pump I have ever seen. I don't often find myself grinning or laughing on reading something but I couldn't help laughing on reading your image of the notice on the pump. An exhorbitant price but delivered with a lovely wry sense of humour. I'm glad I don't live in Locharron.
Ray.
