  • Silly o'clock

I'm not a great fan of early starts these days, getting too old to be up at silly o'clock to catch the dawn golden hour in midsummer, it has little appeal.

But at this time of year I can dig myself out and catch the odd early morning mist. These two are October shots, not this year but I will be out and about.

Silly O'clock was definitely worth it for these, Mike!

The first one is my favourite.

First one especially is lovely as Ian says Mike. I am a bit like you to be honest. I spend 6 weeks being in my office at 05.30 7 days a week so when I get home I tend not to be up at silly o'clock.
Just because cliches are cliches does not make them wrong. I do like walking in the rain.

That first shot has great atmosphere, you can't beat the early morning mist on a cool, still October morning - no lie ins next weekend
