  • Macro lens not required!

This shot of a Common Darter Dragonfly was taken on an Olympus E-M5 with a Leica 14-150mm - no close-up attachment or extension tube or teleconverter. As near enough to macro as I require and at a saving of a few hundred quid!

Canon 7DII, Sigma 150-600mm Sport, Sigma 18-300mm, Sigma 8-16mm, National Geographic Expedition Carbon.

That's is very close, I can get quite close with the Panasonic 14-140 but I haven't managed quite so near as this.

Male and females couple for mating and ovipositing but in this case it is two males! If I were to attempt to explain what is going on the moderators may ban me from the site! Probably just a case of mistaken gender!

That links to ffordes. I have bought some lenses from them in the past. Excellent service and their grading system is very reliable.

Unfortunately the link lead me to look further. So they will have the new "economy" Leica ME in soon and are taking orders? I almost wish you hadn't told me that.
