      Wow, beautiful soft and misty. I was trying to work out whether it was a bank of cloud or trees above the horizon - smoke?

        The foreground bridge looks interesting. Seems to be almost at a level of the treetops!!

          On my own screen they appear to be cooling towers with billowing steam rising from them. Possibly a power station?

            Yes there are two power stations on the horizon. Mind you, when coming in to land at Dortmund (cheaper and more convenient for me flying from Luton ) I counted over a hundred wind turbines. A lot more houses and other buildings have solar panels than here in the UK too.
