  • Autumn raindrops

Today, over a long period of time, I took those 15mins and grabbed my ancient camera to picture something nice. At first there didn't seem to be anything but then found out that there were some raindrops left.

Number 4 and 5 for me, especially no. 5 - I can see that blown up and printed.

thanks for liking, in return all I can do is to give no 5 slightly bigger... 5Mpix sensor just won't give more pix out (ok a minor crop has been done)

to be honest I was also most happy with this one, most of others had a little camera shake but luckily resizing gets them clear

Have to say these 3 are much sharper than the first collection. Maybe you were a bit more relaxed when you took them.

                Re: Autumn raindrops

With the last 3 I had a lot of more time to spend - 15 min vs 2h (was out with my son) and also the weather was great.
Might post some more later as didn't had time today to look all of them.

                  Re: Autumn raindrops

I especially like the first one from the last batch - the droplet hanging from the red berry.

I love the way the reflection from the berry causes a red rim around the edge of the droplet.

                    Re: Autumn raindrops

The berry should be from a flower called Convallaria majalis
Actually if to look @ 100% then the image posted could be in better focus. Now looked them over again and this one was better focused but underexposed. So had to add some light to get it good, could have added a bit more noise reduction probably

I would be very satisfied with that one
