    Never seen it photographed from that direction, the penned sheep make a great foreground.

      Here is one seen before the big climb/walk - the normal view I think. I took this some fifteen minutes after the one above - yes, the sun came out to highlight the scene - most fortunate.

      The grazing cattle puts the true size of this huge rock in to perspective.

          Must say I prefer the 2nd Barr1e. It has a more wholehearted rugged feel about it and the Old Man is more prominent

                Aha - I have been caught out with my rushed processing as this close up (crop from the pic) shows a few electrical cables etc.

                It does however highlight the cattle.
