Was going to post this in a variety of threads. Definitely a place I would like to be now Just scanned them a couple of days ago from 30 year old slides. Definitely in the snapshot category as all my photos were then. Did not want to ressurect a "where is this" thread either :-). I will be extremely impressed if anybody knows where this is without googling and even more impressed if anyone has stood at the top of it.

Is this one side of Table Mountain in South Africa? It looks southern hemisphere some how!

Southern hemisphere Ian but not SA. It is actually Jamestown, St Helena. On my tablet at the minute so can't post it until after church but I have another one of the plaque commemorating its building. 699 steps with every riser a different height. Fantastic place and absolutely wonderful people.

Hmm, trying to post a ppicture of the plaque and I get this message Ian:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1
