Brussels is a funny place, very grubby and run down in places but if you wander around the back streets you can come across jems like this.

Taken on a day trip yesterday.Spot the drunk on the bench in No2.

That's my impression of Brussels too - mainly nondescript until you happen across some delightful gems.

Am I imagining it or have you bee to Brussels a few times recently, Andy?

Well I go 4/5 times a year with one of my friends(non photographer)to sample all those funny beers.
It's so easy on the Eurostar for the day from the south-east.We normally split up during the day and meet later afternoon at a bar.
Also I was there a few weeks ago with my wife for 2 nights,if you shop around you can get some really cheap hotel deals.

Lots of nice food also in Brussels.

These are really pleasing images Andy - and happy to see you had blue skies.

I hope the guy on the bench remembers he enjoyed himself.

Really nice set Andy, and a hidden gem indeed.
            Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.
