    An impressive start

I like the reflection in the first but wish the top of the building that is visible in water was visible in the dry

Cheers Ian, I am happiest when I'm out walking with a camera, which last week was alot, we were so lucky with the weather, we had lots of rain for the last few weeks but we seemed to have dropped lucky last week.
We are off to Florida next April hence the purchases of the G3 and my Nikon 35mm lens so these are really a good chance to practice in what we hope is wall to wall sunshine and Lisa can get used to the G3. Hopefully she will develop her own eye and give us another dimension to our holiday snaps

I have found the G3 very capable although the kit lens is a little soft but has some good features.

Good luck with the Florida weather - I have only been a few times but I'm not sure sunshine is guaranteed! Ooo-er...

The current kit Panasonic 14-42 is not as good as the original 14-42 that I think mike_j has, but I have seen worse!

Its not as good as it could be, that's for sure, but its workable and in good light and oddly with flash it appears quite good. I think the onboard flash is ok and the kit size is great for boozy party nights.
IOS is a great help on those nights too..............cant wait for the G5 for some real life reviews as I'm still after a second camera or body!

Just as an add on, we went out the other day just to do some shopping, Lisa got out of the car and said " Oh I feel I've left something behind"........ we had no cameras with us............... Mission accomplished in my book
