  • Life and Death and a Packed Lunch

The dahlias in my garden have been magnet for honey bees this summer and a garden predator in the form of a common garden spider finally realised it as well.

The funny thing is while he was busy wrapping his prey the honey bees were happily gathering pollen right next to it!

    Olympus E-PL3 and 40-150mm.

    Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

Another very crisp shot - is this a crop or did you use some sort of extension tube, Paul?

Thank you Ian, just a close up filter and a partial crop.

      Regards Paul.

A spider who can obviously only manage one at a time.
          A terrific capture
