  • Springer Spaniel

Spent the day round around Shugborough Hall Historic Estate with the wife, took plenty of snaps but this handsome fellow really took my eye.

It was badly underexposed but it is surprising what you can pull out of a raw file.

    E-PL3 and m40-150mm, processed in CO6 .

    Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

Aaaah he's a sweetie. Bright, alert and handsome indeed.

He reminds me of Gina's old dog, 'Charlie' bless him.

Thank you Pol, I'm a sucker for taking canine shots even when they are not my pooches.

Same here. I'm forever approaching dog owners, asking the pooch's name, getting down to talk to it, have my face licked then taking a picci.

The pics don't often turn out too well but they're enough to remind me of Bruno, Zac, Louis, Lady, Prince or whatever they might be called.

I've never yet had an owner refuse. I've also spent many a happy half hour on a bench talking to owners and the mutts.

David isn't much better but he tends to take pics of me being licked or sitting on the bench nattering to the owners.

Something certainly caught his attention. I would say you were lucky to get a still pose like that, spaniel's rarely stay still when out for walkies
