  • Fashion models, Budapest

Here is another shot from last week's trip to Budapest, this time taken with a Panasonic GX1 fiitted with a Panasonic Leica 25mm f/1.4 and taken at f/1.4.

To be frank I wasn't very inspired by either the models (definitely on the skinny side) nor my camera work. Although this taken at 1/2500th the girl on the right hand side - her head is movement blurred (maybe only visible when blown-up, but it's frustrating!). They move so fast, not stopping for the cameras at all. And the background isn't blurred nearly enough despite the f/1.4 aperture. I needed a longer lens.

I agree. Sam, Helen and the 75mm produced much better results

I'll take a guess Ian and say from the look and pose of them they were fashion models used to the fast pace of the catwalk as opposed to photographic models.

Not my idea of models. No dress sense and far to skinny

Unfortunately this is the shape most models want to be, and a lot of young girls get freaked out trying to mimic the sizes.
