  • Hungary part 2

And here are some additional selections from my Olympus OM-D E-M5 and Panasonic 12-35 shots from Hungary last week. The first batch can be found here.

    Yours truly in Szetendre.

    Flower shop in Gyor

The central covered market in Budapest - I am planning an HDR merge version of this view made from bracketed images.

My hosts for the second half of my week in Hungary, Zoltan (left) and Vikki (on the right) and Vikki's 80 year old grandmother in the centre. She lives in a grand 100 year old ground floor apartment with very high ceilings, built many years before the communist era.

Descending from the Gyor Bishop's Castle tower with Zoltan in view and Vikki down below.

Interesting old building in Gyor that, if you look closely, has a false third floor facade.

Smoking is certainly still more popular in Hungary than further West!

Looks like you had a fabulous time! Beautiful old town, the angles and perspectives are intriguing - particularly in the shot of you on the higgledy piggledy steps, and also of your friend Zoltan on the spiral staircase.

Love the dolls, although still a little unsure about the white vignette.

Thanks, Caz - the white vignette was certainly better than the dark vignette I tried first, but I know what you mean

I must admit that I'm not normally a fan of white vignettes but I have to admit that I think it works very well with these dolls - which, incidentally, strike me as looking somewhat sinister (I think it is the eyes).

          Another nice selection.

There's no way I could negotiate those steps in the first picci. I'd have to somersault from top to bottom, whether I chose to or not!
