  • So much to see and do in Lisbon

With Anne's birthday almost upon us, a look around the last minute short stay breaks brought success from British Airways. So Lisbon bound with old and new toys.
The weather was varied from rain to sun, almost like being at home with one exception, art. Whether it be from theatres (art deco) wall art including much graffiti, to the wonderful patterns in pavements etc.
These pix are from my now newish Panasonic TZ30.

    #28 tram
An iconic tram is the number 28 - many warnings when travelling on it regarding an age old trade pickpockets. If you look at the faces of those boarding, the shocked looks were from a man on a scooter rounding a bend on his Lambretta and skidding off his machine on the wet tramlines.

National Theatre (Teatro Nacional) - dont get sea sick looking at the waves.

Eden Theatre - the queues for the cinema stretched a long way.

Wall art - the Scream? A great piece of work I feel.

Restaurante Cervejaria Inhaca was a good place to eat. This was prepared for another table by the arty Vitor Rosa - looks too good to eat.

I hope you enjoyed these as I have a few more to process.

Don't over-do those lovely custardy tarts they do - I did last time I was there a couple of hours before flying home and was sick on the plane! I have never moved so fast after the seat belt sign went out!

They certainly like to design floor area's outside of the theatre's.
The waves in particular have a strange visual effect.

          Hi -

          Mogli, Ian and Pops.

          Thanks for commenting.

The food was very much to my tastes, lots of stews, fish (sole) and puddings.
Ian, I wasn't too keen on the custard tarts.
