Gabe really is such an exuberant and cheeky little character. It also looks as though Bella might be getting the knack of standing up for herself and claiming, or trying to reclaim what she considers to be hers.

It's a series that seems to tell a story.

Gabe grabs Bella's stick, Dexter chases after Gabe until Bella can catch up with cheeky Gabe - then Dexter, his role completed, leaves Bella to complete the task of seeing off Gabe and reclaiming her stick.

Lovely pics, lovely series, lovely dogs.

BTW I also wonder if a dog can see or notice the expressions of other dogs quickly and properly.

On a slight note of caution, and my brother in law is a vet, and he recommends that dogs not be thrown branches or things like that to fetch because of the risk of injury. Tennis balls are a very good safe alternative, I'm told.
