  • Commotion in the Garden

We were quietly eating our tea when I heard this commotion in the garden, quick grab of the camera to see this crow? picking up the bird feeder in its beak, shaking it so the seeds dropped out then dropping to the ground to eat them

Wished I`d had the video camera instead

Almost as cunning/clever as a squirrel.

Thanks for the story - this weather has certainly bought the cameras out.

They are extremely crafty and can be an absolute delight to watch.

Nice sequence of a very intelligent bird.

Its becoming a regular in the evenings so hopefully I will get a video of the beastie one day. I like the antics but it does keep the little birds away. Tonight it was scrapping over rights to a piece of ground just below the feeder with a magpie. The magpie left first.
