  • A Couple Of Landscapes

    A couple I processed today in CO6.

Whitby Pier late in the evening.

    Forge Mill Lake early morning.

    Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

Like the composition of the pier shot and the eerie atmosphere of the 2nd.

The second is an extremely nice low key show taken in the mist; I like the aura of an old oil painting that this exudes I think it's perfect.

The pier shot has potential (don't you just hate it when people say that!? ) - but for me at least I want to see more detail in the foreground planks. In other words I feel it's too dark. What do others feel?

I must say I agree wholeheartedly about that second picture of Forge Mill Lake! It's a belter, beautiful clours, atmosphere, altogether just perfect.

There is a lack of interest for me in the Whitby pier picci, though the lines and curve are nice enough. Perhaps I might be tempted to do a crop on the horizon. Even though it's a nice sky, perhaps cropping off the sky altogether (along the horizon) and taking the end of the curve into 'infinity' might make it appear more intriguing?

        Whad'ya reckon?

Lol Ian, always feel free to say what you like, I do.

Mind you it gave me a smile, as I had purposely darkened the foreground part of the pier down.

So all I had to do was disable the Pier layer in Capture One and do another export for you.

          Regards Paul.

            I need your expertise Paul.
