  • A Few Minutes In The Garden

After few minutes in the garden with the camera and 70-300mm my left arm was about as steady as a rubber band.

Still I managed to get a couple of snaps before I had to give in.

    Both processed in CO6

Gabe the light of my life wondering what I am doing.

    Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

These two shots are certainly worth the effort and it's great to hear you are taking pictures again, albeit in short bursts. The 70-300mm was quite a test I would think!

Really excellent shots, both of them and sorry to hear you're having problems. Don't know if it'd work as I don't know your exact problem, but I immediately thought of one of those chest tripod things ([ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Polaroid-Stabilizer-Support-Cameras-Camcorders/dp/B005MRXPE4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331593852&sr=8-1"]Polaroid Video Chest Stabilizer Support System For DSLR: Amazon.co.uk: Camera & Photo[/ame]) although I'm sure I've seen a cheaper version somewhere.

They're both beautiful pictures. The picci of the Sparrow is fabulous, beautiful composition, setting and colours.

As for Gabe - I'd take him from you any time. I mean - what a little gem with that cute little face and dinky little nose.

I didn't know you were having problems with your arm. Hopefully it'll continue to improve. Me too - recovering Ulnar nerve injury left arm, sprained wrist (still strapped up) right arm. It's very frustrating!

Love both these and agree with Pol about the sparrow.
Gabe looks like a whole lot of fun

I am inspired to go walkabout with a longer lens too! Might use a tripod though...
