Our grandchildren spent the day with us earlier this week - it was fun filled even though the lad was carrying a cold. Their dad is a keen clicker too (Pentax) so it was easy to get the children to pose, especially as portrait photography is not my strong point, although I have to add the Olympus 50mm lens is superb for this type of picture taking.




Taken using Olympus E-5 - 50mm lens - FL-50 flash - iso 100 - ev -0.3 etc

With subjects as good as this, and a 50mm lens there is ample opportunity to create stunning images for the family album, and these two are a very good starting point.

I hope you paid the appropriate model fees, which I believe is currently a tube of smarties for each session

I disagree with Graham. A large box of Smarties would be more reasonable for pix like those.

Very nice Barrie, the grand kids are still my favourite subject to point the camera at and you have done a fine job there.
