    Thanks all -

Pops - love the dog and you have a wife like mine it seems - green fingered.

Horacio - it gets cold there too?

Caz -it looks like you have a busy time with the feeders.

The Bull - love #3 - is the wife snow clearing?

    Pol - husbands are wonderful.

    Rod - colourful pix.

Ian - I certainly agree with the treatment, great image.

Thanks Barrie. It was indeed snow clearing and I jest not when I say the match had started and I needed the Sky dish cleared pronto A good wife so she is. Wasn't too happy when she saw me taking her picture though :-)
Just because cliches are cliches does not make them wrong. I do like walking in the rain.

              Re: Show your Winter Scene

              Than you Ian.

Something from the last year - went for a walk in an early winter day with a friend and... well the picture is better than words. Only missed a wider lens and stabilizer

Later last winter was on a ferry and went to shoot sunset. Lost all sunset pics due to tele lens, shaking ferry and no stabilizer. But surprised myself by getting something else out from there.

There were loads of nice pics from last one because of it was really good winter but forgot my HDD with pics to the office (will post one more later - wife at work )

This year winter came late but at least it came

And even had a small blizzard, weak enough to dare going out to walk with my son

                Re: Show your Winter Scene

Good shots - I particularly like the third icy shot.

A couple more from me - I actually took my camera to work on Monday but what did it do? Snow, fog and drizzle!

You sure these weren't taken on Bodmin Moor with Mike Parr?

PS Can I encourage you to use the gallery and using BBCode show your photos in the forum rather than attaching the image?

My favorite time of year. Here are a few.

Here in Hemel the snow is back but only about an inch and it has stopped falling. About to hit the sack - wonder if we will get more by morning

Life is not very comfortable at the moment.
Confined at home for many days.

could not get hot water at kitchen last week for a whole week, while chilly water supply had no trouble.

A four wheel drive car but could not drive safely and gave up going out.

The last one was taken this morning. This is the direction to the troubled Fukushima nuke plant. I have to thank to the snow btw. It reduces the radio activity from the ground.

Sorry for the dismal descriptions but to tell the truth I'm enjoying it.
