Who pulled the plug out

A cold dull day yesterday was not helped by some prankster (it was suggested) who left the paddles, I think, open on both ends - thus leaving a section very low with water. The level normally touches the lower part of the horizontal barrier.


Fortunately the water level as seen here shows no fish were lost...


...apart from the pickings with little effort gifted to the heron.

Yes, I guess the lowered water level must have been very bad news for any fish but good news for the heron!
