  • Church in the Mist

It was quite misty/foggy all day yesterday so I took the opportunity for this spooky looking picture. Two colour versions are in my gallery but I thought this had more atmosphere

I like this although I feel some might be concerned about the dominance of darkness on the right. For me (although I'm not religious) it nicely symbolises good versus evil

That really is very spooky and atmospheric.

I dunno if 'like' is the word I'm looking for but it certainly 'paints a picture' for me. It's exactly how I imagined the setting for a Peter James book I read recently about the exhumation of somone who was buried alive. A really spooky churchyard where the exhumation took place at night. It gave me nightmares it did.

Super picci. I just know it's one of those pics I'm going to remeber for quite some time.

Wow, that's an eerie looking image.

I'm always pleased when I see mist, it seems to give a picture that something special/difference.

        Regards. Barr1e

I like this as it is.
The church is inviting sanctuary within a spooky atmosphere

Thank you Ian,Pol Barr1e and Pops for your comments, hope you dont too many sleepless nights Pol. The two colour ones are taken from in the graveyard itself. My daughters partner was with me and was surprised when I popped the camera on the tripod by the graves and started clicking away. He stayed in the carpark!
The B/W pic was taken on the path leading to the door. I was married in that church thirty four years ago, but thats another story
