...when enlarging the pic - however not worth wasting work. Does this 'mirror box' image work for you?

    Re: I noticed an error...

Have done this sort of thing in the past and this one works OK.
Looks like your angles are just right.
Did you do it via copy/paste/flip etc

      Thanks Pops.

I used Gavin Hoey's tutorial. I have been using this for a few months and remember most of it when pping in this fashion.
Gavin has many ideas on youtube which I find most useful on occasions.

        Re: I noticed an error...

I too have used this idea for a "Constructed Image" contest.

The top and bottom are ok, but the sides are the wrong way round

        Cheers

          Thanks Graham.

You would have not given this image many points, if judging it in a contest.

          Corrected image below.

I like it. But I think this is something that needs to be used sparingly as the effect can easily lose appeal.

                Thanks Ian.

Agreed, I have had a few failures.

                  I confess I hadn't noticed the error

The top was right in the first one, but now it's not...

Next time I'm at B&Q, I'll see if I can get some mirror tiles and build a box, just to see the difference between straight shot and Photoshop.

Thanks Graham - excuse my carelessness.

                        Re: I noticed an error...

If this was submitted to me in a competition, I'd rate it quite highly. We see so many "Bird on a Stick", "Model against a Brick Wall", "Dungeness" (now known as Done-t-Death)

Anything that is different that the photographer has put some thought into is welcomed and rewarded. I do agree with Ian, but with the right subject and presentation, it can work rather well and the end format lends itself to CD cover art work.
