  • Stills

    Trying my luck with a couple of stills.
    The first was with natural window light from the left and I held a piece of foil on the right.
    Advice welcome

    for this I used in camera flash with a piece of kitchen towel held in front

    Very well done Pops nice arrangement of the artificial flowers.
    my only down is the feet of the beautiful container has been cropped off!
    also the light balance worked well on both of your photo's Regards John.

      Your right about the feet John. I did it deliberately because the cover I was using for a background had ruttled up a bit and obscured the feet slightly.
      Didn't notice it until I got it on the puter. Might be worth doing again when I get the chance.

        They both turned out very well imho. I agree about the slight over-tightness of the framing but the important thing is that he lighting looks good.

            To me they're both look excellent, I think the exposure is spot on given the background and the way it emphasises the detail.
