Fine morning, a peaceful start to the day over a good coffee. I joined him!

Yer not gonna believe this but I joined him too, in a manner of speaking.

I saw your picci, 'smelled the bread' and had to take myself off to the kitchen to bake some fresh Petit Pain. I'm sitting here enjoying it with Brie and sliced tomato. So I think it would be fair to say your picture most definitely works.

All I need now is some sunshine. It's been dark, dull, grey, wet and dripping here for almost 2 weeks.

From this image I see why you enjoy b+w.

          I really like this.

Which program did you use for processing please?

            Hi Barrie,
Thanks, and I'm glad that you like it. All the processing done in Adobe Camera Raw except for final sharpening and resizing in CS5 for a print version.

A fairly common sight that mostly gets ignored without a second glance.
The guy is obviously not going to be rushed through his day and you captured his private few moments perfectly.

Really liked this shot and like others jealous of the fact that you can still sit outside and the mono treatment works really well.

Pol - you raised a smile after a grotty day!
