  • Autumn leaf

There are some cherry trees just outside our office and although it was still drizzling after a rain shower this afternoon I couldn't resist the temptation to photograph some of the remaining leaves on the trees:

    Olympus Pen Mini E-PM1, m.Zuiko 45mm (90mm equivalent) f/1.8, @f/1.8, 1/2000th sec., ISO 200.

It's quite a contrast to the pale pink blossom in the spring No fruit though!

I would rather see the whole of the f/ground leaf in focus

It's a personal thing and so I very politely agree to disagree on this one

            Re: Autumn leaf

Lovely, vibrant orangey reds so typical of Autumn. I also like seeing the torn edges and the 'dampness' with a hint of a few water droplets.

But what I like most of all are the colours of the overall picci, which includes the colours of the background - ie the grey sky, the yellowish green of the damp Autumnal grass, the brownish tones of the branches and leaf stalks and the varying shades of the other leaves. Colourful and artistic.

            Nice one.
