Here he is with his HS10. Action man disguised in his camo hat (aka Snoopy).
Pol
And I call him 'Snoopy' because he drives me nuts watching me and taking endless snaps of me ... almost always when I'm a untidy, windblown and a mess. Sorry about that but I do occasionally 'clean up' and brush my flyaway hair.
This was one of his HS10 snaps of me (grabbed the other day when we were down at the lake.
Thanks so much for that Pol. It's good to see you both in the flesh.
I've been trying out my TZ20 today and it has performed quite well in Clumber. What I have noticed is that it captured the full photo of blue sky and green grass just on auto.
Like the FX01 in darker situations there is still some noise.
Anyway here are a few test pics. The one in our lounge is daylight.
I shall still take the HS10 on holiday with me, but it is so easy just to have a pocket camera again.

I can see I have adjusted the lake one too much.

Well there certainly isn't much to complain about with those first few test shots, eh.
Dunno if I mentioned I have a TZ10 that sits in my pocket and that's always given me something decent just using the intelligent auto or landscape mode too. It's so handy to have available for those 'snatch' grabs that would've been missed and it also performs nicely through a windscreen in a moving vehicle so I'm clicking regularly that way with either the C-Lux2 or the TZ10. I get loads of snapshots that way.
I've never used David's HS10 but the zoom range is amazing so he usually has it with us so we can suss what's in the distance and often gets a reasonable shot we can pore over later.
You should be well set up for India with the HS10 and the TZ20. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your shots.
