  • Pix from Mexico

All wildlife - more to come later in another thread with a beach shot or two.

Turkey Vulture - we were threatened by this huge bird - fortunately it settled down on a large tree stump.

Iguana - Tulum So many of these to photograph, they can certainly move when they have to.

    Egrets in Flight

    Tzereque

Its skin is entirely reddish coffee colour and lives in harvest fields eating maize and grass.
It is a diurnal animal, puffing up its fleece when threatened to make it bigger than it is.

    Sea Eagle I think.

    Pelican

Dozens flew over our location to feed further up the coast each day, returning in the evening.

All taken with the E-5 and the 70-300, mostly jpeg. A. Mode f.8ish EV -7 or -1.0

I have some more to post later where the Canon G11 sparkled too.

      Thanks Graham.

Gnat bites from the canal are more bearable than those from mosquitoes in the jungle.

      We had a great trip.

Joanne (our daughter) and Nicks wedding on the beach was especially pleasing.
