  • Suffering for art

Foolishly I went out armed with my big camera and lens this morning - it didn't help the discomfort in my lower back as the hour or two ticked by.

    Heron about to pounce.

    E-5 + 70-300 lens A-mode etc

As I had a chore to do in town this afternoon I took the baby with me (Canon G11) and took this on my return.

    Early Spring

No sympathy please, however, some nice comments on the pix would be welcome.

    Regards. Barr1e

Nice one with the E-5, Barrie. Both are good, I like the bird best though.

      Thanks Brian.

The heron is always a good subject to take. They move little, but when they do... and they are not fussy eaters.

The canal shot I see often - we only live a few yards/metres away. As you look at the picture the town is to your right and just beyond is the railway station to the left, both only a short distance away. Anne's choice of situation suits well as we join the ranks of the elders.

          Worthwhile suffering I would say.
