Re: Model @ Focus 2
I remember her - she was on the Westcott booth - which attracted a lot of attention. She's featured in a video tour of the show I'm currently working on.

Westcott sell studio lighting
You can see the setup in the video I'm working on. Struggling with nearly 90 clips!

Re: Model @ Focus 2
Hi Stephen, are you talking about Ash's shot? Not sure how the exif data would have info about the demo light set up?Originally posted by Stephen View PostI was surprised to see the exif indicating it was some form of continuous lighting. It gives a very clean result anyway and the colour balance seems spot on.

Re: Model @ Focus 2
I would normally think that if it had been studio flash lighting he would have been using Manual, ISO2200 also seems a bit high and more the sort of thing you may potentially use for available light. Westcott also specialise in continuous lighting.Originally posted by Ian View PostHi Stephen, are you talking about Ash's shot? Not sure how the exif data would have info about the demo light set up?

I am presuming that Ash was - as you can see in my video clip - one of the many crowded around the model and very doubtfully connected up to any of the lighting.

Re: Model @ Focus 2
It was all flourescent daylight balanced continuous lighting, there is no otherway you could do it with so many photographers.
Also you will see my iso is pretty high for this sort of shot giving me fairly fast shutter, this was due to the fact that it was a bit mad, elbows and stuff, to get right to the front of the pack of dogs that were hogging her, some were quite rude actually, if everyone just took a few shots and moved on it would have been alot more civilised
Why you need a burstrate of 10 fps shooting a model like this is beyond me, but I guess they thought it maked them look more pro or something
