    The Feathered Hooligans

Lucky shots from the kitchen window. We get loads of the small birds on our feeders and most of them co-exist OK. When the greenfinches arrive though everything changes. They usually number between 20 and 30 and try to keep all the others off the food, the only one they don't seem to frighten is our robin. When there is nobody to intimidate they fight amongst themselves!

I really like both, and admire anyone who can get a steady shot at the bird table.. still having fun trying!
