Tuscany in October

Dear All,

I had the good fortune to visit Tuscany in both July and October last year. Many of you have seen the July photographs but due to work I have only just finished preparing the October galleries. I recognised Reflections of Florence 2 immediately.

This photo was taken in the Piazza della Repubblica.
I have spent some time there!

In the square is a fabulous restaurant " Gilly's "
Have spent hours sitting there, drinking espresso, people watching.

Beautiful set of pictures that capture the atmosphere perfectly, Love the reflections of Florence2 and you captured a proper Fiat 500 too (cant beat the classics)

Lovely set of images - I rather like the first one with the starburst effect and, of course, the fiat 500, as well as the reflections.

Thanks Caz. The starburst effect is 100 % natural. All I did was clone out two instances of flare.

Man, do these bring back memories. I visited Tuscany in 2000, and I've always said I'd go back in a New York minute. I like the color landscape best, since you asked. And, what a coincidence, I have the same body shape too, under about 30 lbs. of fat. Workin' on that one. These are great. I love the Fiat too. Thanks for sharing.

An awsome set Josh, I love them all, the only image imo is not upto the standard of the rest is the first, I do like it but for me the sky lets it down!

Thanks Ash. Yes the sky is flat on number one. Both visits to Tuscany have been blessed with good weather. Great for holidays not optimal for photography. I now know where the good locations are for photographs of San Gimignano so will try again if I go back. If anyone else is going let me know and I will show you where I took these pictures From
