  • Crepuscular Rays over Portsmouth

Its been a long time since I posted on here but I was taking a drive to calm me from a recent loss that has cut me up. While parked on Portsdown Hill, I noted the crepuscular rays working their way over Portsea Island. I waited until they illuminated the solent behind Portsmouth City centre.

The whole whole scene had a calming influence

    comments etc welcome as always.
    Kind regards

Oh so that's what they are called! I love watching those too & call the 'God rays' I'm so glad it brought you solace even if temporary! Chin up! I do like your pic although it does have a colour cast!

      Thanks Jocelyn
I did have a problem with this. The out of camera image was too cold and did not look at all right. I used the 'cloudy' setting for white balance in PP and this brought it out much closer to what I remember seeing. It does look to have a cast but I am not sure as to how to remove it

        Hi

Well I love it. The cast does not bother me. My sort of picture. Grand scale and interesting

        Best regards
