  • More indentification required please

I am still learning albeit not fast enough. It seems the capacity for storage is rather full or as I suspect shrinking with this ageing problem we have in the later stages of life but at least the brain ticks albeit slowly.

    Are these dunnocks?

Sipping water on the edge of the ice is one I can't identify - can you plese.

Both taken with Olympus E-5 + 50-200 lens coupled with 1.4 converter.

Going by the beak - I think they're House Sparrows in the first picci. Dunnocks have a more pointed, darker sort of beak.

I don't know the bird in the second picci.

As Pol has said. The first are female house Sparrows.

      The second is a Fieldfare

        Thanks both.

Fancy the Fieldfare being common I thought I had taken a rare one.
