Waking to clear blue skies put off our bus journey to the offices of www.fourthirds-user.com. We had hired a 50mm Olympus lens from the sister site www.e-group.uk.net before Christmas which needed to be returned. So Anne and I decided to walk there until the rains came. They didn't, fortunately. We did get the bus back though, because as this series of pix in two parts show the weather changed quite rapidly.

    Odd one out

    Looking at me!

    ...with Carlsberg

Gull on high many seen near Boxmoor

We missed a Kingfisher as a cyclist with a yellow top disturbed it just metres from where Anne and I were walking.

    Part two to follow.

    Re: Seven Miles

Ooops - the office was unmanned for some of today!

I, too was out and about during the fleeting sunshine photographing the canal for an article coming out tomorrow.

Not a great day for us either as my sisters mother in law passed away today and Jasmine the ice cream pot addict cat also had to be put down also this morning

Things can only get better in 2011 for us...
