Passing over the pennine's today travelling on a road that had only recently been cleared and came across some nice scenes, I did happen to have the d90 with me

That's a beautiful arctic scene - love the cloud formation too. Is this a stitched pano or cropped?

Love the sun flare and the cloud formations. Without the fence posts, the ground (in my weird imagination!) could almost be mistaken for a stormy sea - it's a beautiful image.

You are too kind, Im nearly embaressed ok Im not really im lapping it up
There is one third cropped off the bottom Ian, not much interest in the bottom third of the frame so I ditched it, I felt the scene as do most landscapes was improved by a wider scene.

Nice picture Ash. I'm not trying to bump your thread, but I couldn't resist posting a similar picture that I took on our way to Manchester Airport a few years ago. Yours is better, of course. Mine is through the moving taxi window.

I do like this image. The clouds and shadows cast on the ground and the lack of too many distracting objects on the ground let you appreciate the image as a whole and not bits of it. The fence running across the image is a nice touch further encouraging you to look at the whole picture. In short, a well composed image. Thanks for sharing.
