  • Hoar Frost shots

It was pretty cold when I ventured out a little later than normal along the canal today.

I had spotted some cool looking leaves which I left to take a little later on as I wanted to see if the kingfisher had left due to the canal being frozen over in parts.

I caught up with my bird as it flitted here and there. Unfortunately for me, some householders were clearing a shed out which was situated by the canal bank, so I lost the opportunity of capturing it once again.

As the sun came out it offered some welcome warmth to my exposed parts, but didn't help when I returned to take my leaves. Not wanting to have a wasted day I thought I would show you my pix which I hope you enjoy.

    Hi

Love the second one. Really sharp and great colours.

    Best regards

I like all the leaves, but number 2 looks very arty on the black background.

The last one has an infra red look to the trees, as ours did this week. I think it must be because they are frozen.

I think I prefer the first shot Barrie well done, the second although arty looks a bit false, sorry!
